There's this thing inside me, its invisible to the human eye, you could call it a monster, it steals everything from me. My strength, my ability to feel normal, to raise my head from my pillow. Even the little things my family do, it takes it from me. I miss out on memories, the sound of laughter as my father tells a joke. I miss out on my nieces journey of new experiences, all because my heads still on the pillow. Reading takes me places my body is to tired to go, it allows me to meet new people, and see the world through their eyes.
