Most people in my school do not enjoy reading. They annoy me about it and always ask me 'Why do you read.' I always answer with 'because I enjoy being in other people's heads. What it really is has much less meaning behind it compared to the stories of others but for me it saved my life. I was in 3rd Grade at the time. All I could talk about was 'Minecraft' and the new dolls I got. My teacher got really annoyed and had to consistently talk to me about the world being more then some game. I was watching a YouTube video about minecraft when the youtuber mentioned Harry Potter and I was immediately intrigued. I read all the way up to the eleventh chapter in the first feeling bored when my mind exploded and sparks ricocheted throughout my body and I discovered a new hobby, reading. This also led to writing. Writing helps control my crazy imagination. Reading also led to me improving as a student and teaching me hard work pays off. This is a story that I will remember forever. Harry Potter taught me to try and not give up. As I had said my story isn't as heart-warming but it is important to me.
